Assisting people with disabilities with their mobility needs.

It’s spinal cord injury awareness week, and the theme is “I Can.” The theme asks people to challenge what they think they know about the lives of people living with spinal cord injuries.

In line with this, we thought we’d share with you some of our favourite modification set ups that are often used with people with spinal injuries or those who have difficulty using their lower limbs. Below we share a particular modification that is one of our most popular as it’s one of the latest technologies out there and very easy to use.

The video below shows a quick how-to on the GuidoSimplex flip side floor mounted hand control and electronic radial control. Click here to watch the video.

Aside from the hand control modifications that we have from GuidoSimplex, we also have those conventional types of hand controls. Here at Williams OT, we take care of all your needs. From assessment, driving lessons, driver’s license, and modifications.

In the video below, we discuss the mechanical hand control modifications that are installed to one of our service cars here in the company. Click here to watch the video.
