At Williams OT we like to go above and beyond and encourage our students to do the same.
When it comes to learning to drive, the accredited Williams OT driving instructors advance their skills and knowledge around disability and medical conditions to tailor programs specific to your needs. It is unlikely that a driving instructor can meet all of your hours of driving needs when learning to drive. At some point, you will need to gain experience and hours of practice with a supervising driver.
That’s why we have designed our very own video training program.
This program is for the driver and the supervising driver to watch and learn together.
The program cannot be specific to your needs, otherwise, that would be 100’s and 1000’s of videos specific to every individual. Instead, Brad, CEO, Occupational Therapist and Driving Instructor has designed a learning program that is generic to suit most peoples needs. If you need to use hand controls or other modifications, the general road rules and techniques in the videos below still apply.

Make sure you follow the road rules regarding driving with a mobile phone if you are watching these videos in the car.
We would love your feedback, so make sure you leave us a comment, and otherwise, stay safe, look out for each other, and we will see you on the road real soon.
